- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Doctor DiMaggio delivered my son 11 years ago. The delivery was horrible and the post care was horrible. My delivery took 4 days. I told her time and time again that I did not feel like myself when she discharged me, she called it "baby blues." I experienced postpartum depression. I was hospitalized in psych ward at Providence Southfield. It was there that Dr. Ahmad took over my case. If it were not for Dr. Ahmad, my sheer determination to get back home to my newborn and supportive family, I would have never made it through. I never received one visit from Dr. DiMaggio or a phone call. In retrospect, my case was so awful, I could have taken legal action against this doctor. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this doctor. If you have a high risk pregnancy, stay away from this doctor.
